A hint of Art Deco Charlotte & Mikey
Vintage, Art Deco, classic styling and a pop of yellow.
When I met Mikey and Charlotte they had most of their suppliers and details organised ahead of their spring church wedding. The reception was to take place at the charming Dimple Well Lodge - an old Victorian house in Wakefield, which is bursting with vintage character and contemporary style.
After listening to their likes, dislikes, checking out the venue and noting down all the details, a floral watercolour design was delivered. The stationery incorporated their wedding colours of yellow and silver, a monogram and floral wreath taking center stage. Vintage and classic in style, the gate-fold invite featured script and Art Deco inspired fonts, tied with silver ribbon, personalised tag and finished with a tiny pearl.
The look was carried through to their big day and everything worked seamlessly. The wedding room looked amazing with spring daffodils and other yellow florals and foliage creating beautiful pops of colour. The floral theme was also carried on to their stunning five-tier wedding cake. Ornate Art Deco frames proudly showcased their table numbers and seating plan with everything complimenting each other beautifully. They were such an amazing and fun couple to work with and I loved their simple and classic styling.
